Farm Animals In School!

Year 1 had a fantastic time meeting some furry and feathered friends. We welcomed goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even a ferret to Saracens Bell Lane!

The children loved petting and feeding the animals while learning about their diets. We discovered that while the sheep and rabbits love munching on plants (herbivores), the ferret prefers meat (carnivore). It was a wonderful way to bring our science lessons to life through hands-on fun!
