How We’re Learning

Science

This term in Science the topic has been ‘our bodies and our senses’. We smelt and tasted various things and played listening and memory games.

History

In history, we created timelines and compared how birthdays have changed in living memory.

Art

Our exploration of various lines helped us create life like observational drawings in Art.

Literacy

For Literacy, we have been discussing feelings and building sentences inspired by the story Lost and Found. 

Black History Month

The children learnt about Mary Jane Seacole and how important she was to the nursing profession, even though no one knew about her until more recently. They performed a song during assembly to teach the other children about how caring she was.
