How We’re Learning
Geography
In Geography we have been studying population, looking at world maps and determining where the largest populations are.
Science
In Science we focused on light and made periscopes and rainbows during our practical investigations.
We were also lucky enough to learn about Earth and Space in the Wonderdome visiting planetarium. You can read more about there here.
Maths
In maths we have covered place value and the 4 operations.
Literacy
In Literacy we have been reading Kensuke’s Kingdom.
Black History Month
During Black History Month we explored key historical moments from the past and acted them out through puppetry linked to our light topic- e.g. Rosa Parks sitting on the bus.
