Children’s Centre
Saracens Bell Lane Children’s Centre offers a range of services to children under five and their families, including health services, adult learning, welfare support, stay and play groups and one to one advice. We have well-resourced indoor and outdoor spaces for children to learn, play and explore.

All families are asked to complete a registration form when first visiting our centre. You can do this in person or by using the following link:

Opening Hours
Saracens Bell Lane Children’s Centre is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (Term time only).

Drop in sessions
Saracens Bell Lane Children’s Centre offers a range of community sessions for children aged 0 to 5 years old. Most sessions are drop-in, meaning no booking is required.
Baby Group
These sessions are for non-walkers.
It is a chance for your baby to explore natural materials, treasure baskets, enjoy sensory play and learn about the benefits of tummy time.
Stay and Play
These sessions are for 0-5-year olds.
A wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities are on offer to help your child develop and explore all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Healthy Start vitamins – pick up your free vitamins when you bring in your eligibility card.

- 2-year development checks by Health Visitors
- Stay and Play sessions
- Oral Health advice
- Healthy eating sessions by invitation only
- Early Years Communication and Language (SEND)
- Access to Speech and Language support
Support with Looking for Childcare
- Find out how your two-year-old can access 15 hours of Early Education (FEE2) for free each week
- Working alongside the Barnet Early Years Team, the Children’s Centre can help check eligibility and support you in finding a suitable setting.
Support with Returning to Work
- Access to adult learning in partnership with vital workplace training.
- ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) courses in partnership with Barnet and Southgate College.
- Help with Welfare Rights.
Support with Parenting
- Breastfeeding support
- Introduction to solids
- Sleep routines
- Behaviour management
- Paediatric First Aid workshop
- We also have links with parent programmes

- Advice on benefits
- Food bank vouchers
- Healthy Start vitamins for adults
